Styling Tips for a Concert

Over the weekend I was invited by Budweiser to attend the 3rd Annual We Can Survive Concert. The concert was hosted by 97.1 AMP radio, CBS radio, and Chrysler at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. Here are my tips on how to concert in style!

The line up included: 5 Seconds of Summer, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Sam Smith, Maroon 5, Calvin Harris, The Weeknd, and surprise guest Rihanna! All performers played for free and all ticket sales and proceeds went to cancer research! Needless to say, it was a great night!

My tips:

Research your venue! This concert was at the Hollywood Bowl, an outdoor venue! Be sure to have layers in case it cools down at night! The Bowl also has tons of sloping walkways, so be prepared if you wear sky-high heels (or have a date that can help keep you steady!).

The Outfit:
If you are like me, comfort is key when choosing an outfit. I am not really the mini dress-wearing, Louboutin tip-toeing type. I instead opted for a graphic tee, black blazer, dark skinnies, and heeled booties. The tee and jeans kept the outfit casual and uber comfy, but the blazer and booties kicked it up a notch on the fancy scale. I kept my bag small with just the essentials (keys, cards, ID, lip gloss, cash). A mini crossbody let me be hands-free while walking to and from the venue and didn’t weigh me down. Mine is also a patent leather, so I wasn’t worried about it getting dirty or stained if I set it on the ground.

This outfit was perfect because I was able to dance the whole night away!
