For my birthday, I am taking strides against Parkinson’s Disease.
Help me take strides against Parkinson’s Disease!
To celebrate turning 25 on July 10th, I am running my first half marathon! A cure for Parkinson’s Disease would be the BEST GIFT EVER. Parkinson’s has been in my life for 11 years now, and, frankly, I’ve had enough. My goal is to raise my age x 10, so $250 powerful dollars, all supporting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Disease Research.
My mom, who is celebrated a birthday on July 1st, is running the first 10K with me! If we knock out my age goal of 25×10, we can go for hers of 56×10 😉
As my mom and I stride across the finish line, will you help us make strides against Parkinson’s Disease? Donate here. Every dollar helps. Thanks!
Follow-up note: I was able to raise $2,850 with the support of friends, family, and colleagues. To those that donated, thank you so much! Being supported by the people in your life is the best feeling in the world.
